- Hi, my name is Shadi, I got ILTexas and today I am going to be talking to you about television and its history throughout the years.
- The development of television began in the early 1900s, with the discovery of the photoconductivity of the element selenium by German scientist Willoughby Smith.
- TV's back in the day didnt have the components that modern day television has. TV's were only in black and white color and had very blurry and bad quality. They had low quality audio on TV's that were harder to understand than todays audio.
- In the 1970s, cable television began to emerge as a significant force in the television industry and allowed viewers to access a wider range of programmings and channels
- The 1990s and 2000s saw the rise of digital television technology, which allowed for higher-quality images and sound and the transmission of more channels over the same bandwidth.
- Modern day television has evolved immensely since the 1970s through quality and programming. Television has come a long way since its early beginnings in the early 1900s and it looks to continue evolving throughout time.
