- I'm interested in computers, but I am limited in South Africa.
- I need to travel to America where I can pursue my interests in Silicon Valley.
- Immigrants who's parents are Canadian citizens can apply for visas to move to Canada.
- Okay, now to apply for a Canadian visa. It shouldn't take too long.
- Musk decides he has to get to America to pursue his interests in computers and technology.
- It feels as though it will take another year to get this plane ticket!
- A change in an immigration law allows Musk to inherit Canadian citizenship from his mother, who is Canadian.
- I've made it to Canada. Now where can I go? I know I have relatives in Montreal, but I can't find him using directory assistance.
- It takes about a year to secure the proper approvals and visas to move to Canada.
- I need to find a way to make it to America, but I have to make some money first. I'll take any job I can get right now while I work on getting to Silicon Valley.
