Storyboard Text

  • He left schoolin 8th grade. He was Hispanic and he had speaked Spanish.
  • His most famous quote was, "Once social change begins, it cannot be reversed. You cannot un-educate the person who has learned to read. You cannot humiliate the person who feels pride. You cannot oppress the people who are not afraid anymore."
  • Him and his family moved to California to find work. In short years from moving place to place, he attended 35 different schools in total.
  • Cesar Chavez
  • Cesar Chavez got employed and worked at the Community Service Organization (CSO). He eventually quit his job to start a union of migrant farm workers. Cesar created the National Farm Workers Association.
  • They would not buy any grape related products.
  • He was influenced and inspired by MLK (Martin Luther King J.R.), and Gandhi.
