Storyboard Text

  • Don't worry. Just you, me, and the rabbits.
  •
  • ... And just live off the fat of the land... with the rabbits.
  • Nah... Impossible
  • This is the climax of the story for 'Of Mice and Men' in which George chooses to shoot and kill his best friend Lennie rather than let Curley lock him up as well as potentially kill him. This showcases the bond between companions where one character has to make a tough decision for what they believe is best for their friend.
  • In this part of the story, Lennie is telling Crooks about the dream he has with George about living off the fat of the land along with rabbits. Crooks however believes that this isn't achievable. This symbolizes the impossibility of the American Dream and the strive that it can bring to people despite of its flaw.
  • Around this part of the story, Lennie has killed on of Candy's puppies due to not knowing his own strength. Curley's wife would soon find out, get careless, and end up meeting a similar fate. This represents how the strong in some ways always have an edge over those who are weaker.
