I really don't like working on a farm. It would be great if the country could produce enough food with less farmers so we could maybe move to the city. Like an agricultural revolution or something.
That would be great. Working here is so tedious and time consuming, and we don't even get paid enough to make a good living!
It happened! The agricultural revolution happened, and now we can finally urbanize. I think I've saved up enough money to start my own manufacturing business as well, now that Britain has adopted a capitalist economy.
We'll figure it out. My business is gonna go great due to the abundance of natural resources in Britain, so maybe I can turn it into a transnational corporation.

That sounds great, but where will we live in the city? I know it offers increased wages, but in the city there is terrible living conditions. It's all cramped and filthy.
Oh no, we couldn't find a house to live in. The housing shortage here is crazy!

And alongside poverty causing densely populated urban slums, the public health crisis of Cholera in London is getting out of hand!
We'll have to settle here because we can't find another house. It's close to the manufacturing sites. Maybe you can get a job at a nearby factory. It's becoming more common for women in manufacturing to help provide for the family.
The air here is so polluted. It must be due to the usage of fossil fuels to power steam engines or other machines. It's better than nothing though.
Finally, now that I've grown my business into a large joint-stock corporation, we've earned a fortune and are able to afford a better home.
The industrial revolution really did help. Although it came with its problems such as inefficient infrastructure and crime, it was a net benefit for society.
