Storyboard Text

  • Are you here to join the Catholic Church?
  • The church is forcing religion!
  • No! The Catholic Church will be stripped of it's power soon enough.
  • Ok!
  • I will give you all a piece of paper by using the Printing Press, and you all shall write your complaints about the Church on it, and we shall pin it to the door of the Catholic Church!
  • Hm, so it seems that Copernicus was right, let me hurry inside to write this down.
  • You're under arrest!
  • Johann Gutenberg was a person who believed everyone should be Catholic and made a Catholic Church that forced people to be like him, which isn't right at all. He also made the church have so much power that he was as strong as the government, eventually people got tired of him and his church so they found ways to ruin it. His goal was to make everyone believe in God, but he failed due to a teacher inventing a new religion called Humanism.
  • Martin Luther was a protester against the church who pinned complaints to the churches door to help people take down the church, it helped a bit but not fully. Martin Luther believed that Johann was evil (which technically he was) so that's why he used Johann's invention, the Printing Press, which allowed him to make multiple pieces of paper to pin it on the church.
  • Galileo was a astronomer who helped proved Copernicus' theory that the Earth revolved around the sun instead of the planets revolving around the Earth, he proved it when he was taken to jail for not believing the Catholic Church. The reason he was able to prove it was because he made sketches while he was in jail and the public found them, the church viewed them as a threat because of him proving Copernicus right.
