- Sure! but first let me explain to you what is management.
- Management is the process of working with people and resources to achieve organizational goals. Effective management is when you have already accomplished your goals. The functions of management are the practices on how to become a successful manager
- Fletcher, can you clean table number 1 and 8 for a family of four. Olivia, you can help with preparing the function room for the birthday party later. Sierra, you can put the center piece in the function room.
- Directing is giving instructions to the employees to get the Job done. Leadership is needed for this, and you should lead your employees well or else they would have a problem with the manager or their own jobs. A good manager must know what sort of action or direction they will do for their employees daily.
- Precious, you will assist the cook today. Louis you will be the dishwasher for the day because Harry isn't here. Cheryl, you will train our trainee today, you'll train him for a few hours and you can go back to your job.
- Staffing is recruiting,choosing,appointing the employees, assigning duties and taking care of grievance of employees. Managers must hire employees who are willing to do the job and are fit for the role. They assign the duties for the staff, the duties they assign for their workers should be something they can do or they know how to do.
