- Hi hello hi! It's me I'm some guy you don't know. I'm gonna tell you how the consul got their jobs and how long they lasted for. The consul got their jobs by being voted in by the senate, voted in by the people(plebians). they had their jobs for 2 years.
- Hi there hello, it's ME, Davion. Yeah i don't know who this dude is but, I'm gonna tell you how the senate got their jobs and for how long they lasted. The senate got their jobs by being in charge of laws, money, and they advised the 2 consul members. They had their jobs for their whole life.
- Hi hello hi! it's me again. ooohhhh I have a different bubble now, cool ok. I'm here to tell you how the senate kept the consul in check. They did this knowing they have control over money and laws, if the consul was doing something the senate didn't like, they could take away their money. The Assembly keeps the senate in check by knowing that the senate is the person in charge of laws, then if they don't like a law, they could change it by starting a veto.
- geez, you talk too much. I also have a circular bubble speech so HA! Anyway my reason to live is to tell you how other people live, so here is the job/jobs of a consul. The consuls job was managing the government and the army.
