- I've had a crush on Katniss since I was 5 years old.
- I'm Haymitch, I won the Hunger Games a few years ago. Now, I help the tributes, but they never win so I drink myself to happiness everyday. Katniss, this is Peeta. Peeta, this is Katniss.

- Oh, snap. The girl on fire is not messing around.
- What did I do?!? Effie's going to kill me!!

- There has been a slight change in the games, 2 people can win in the Hunger Games this year. THis is only if you bot belong to the same district.
- That's exactly what I was thinking. I'm sorry about Rue, I know she was your ally. Jack shouldn't have killed her, she was only 12.
- I can help you, we can both win the games!
- Thanks, Peeta. That means a lot. I killed him as soon as I saw that spear in Rue.

- Katniss and Peeta both won after being attacked by monstrous beasts with past tributes eyes. Thresh was killed, but the Game Masters said that only one of them could win, the rule change seemed to be a trick. Katniss and Peeta both almost swallowed poisonous berries before being stopped by the Game Masters saying that they can both win.
- Wow, I really didn't think they could do win it. I'll drink to that!
- Katniss, are we going to be together now?
- I thought the whole love thing was just for the games. I'm in love with Gale.
