- Some aspects however, were not so effective. The fact that there was no real federal army meant that people were completely unprotected if people decided to revolt, such as Shays rebellion. This is mainly what led to thhe articles being changed.
- One aspect of the articles of confederation that was particularly effective was the state representatives. This is a very important thing in government because its not fair for the federal government to decide something that will affect every state while none of the states have a say in it. This system is still used today, just with much more representatives from each of the states.
