- We were on our way to my great-grandmother’s house to visit her because she just came from Alaska.
- When we got there, we greet everyone and then we eat. My great-grandmother noticed something about my mother.
- No, I’m just full because of all the food that we ate.
- Then,we just ignore that because maybe she’s just really full.
- Why do you look bloated, are you pregnant?
- Several months later.
- It was the 27th of December 2015 when my mom went near to our house to visit us, specifically in front of KFC. She just drops by the gifts that she gave to us since Christmas was just 2 days ago.
- When they already left, me and my brother are on our way to go home. On our way, my brother suddenly said something that really shocked me
- I was totally shocked, and I can’t even hold my tears back even if we are in public because we were still on our way
- Yeah, sure. What is it?
- Mom is pregnant for like how many months now, she just doesn’t want to tell you about it because she knows that you don’t want a baby sister/brother.
- Tin,please don’t panic about the things that I am going to tell you
- I was really hurt, it felt like you were betrayed by the person you wouldn’t even imagine that will betray you.
- As I got to our store, I cried on the shoulder of one of my friends.
- I didn’t talk to my mom for like how many days, months, or I don’t know, but eventually, I forgave her and we’re okay now.
- That was a very tough moment for a 10-year-old kid, having a broken family and being lied about the truth. When I’m thinking about it, I felt sad for that kid, but now, it’s all in the past and I have a new journey to go for the future.
- So, the lie that I discover here was that, she’s not really just bloated, the truth is, she was pregnant.
