- Rose is a traditional women from the 1900s for example in Fences, ROSE: Im cooking up some chicken. I got some chicken and collard greensTROY: well, go on back in the house and let me and Bono finish what we was talking about.ROSE: Troy Maxson, don't start that now(Wilson 12). Rose is the lady that every man need in their life she cooks and she cleans for her man with little arguing, recipe for the best women.
- Troy wants Cory to quit the team and so he back doors Cory. For Example in fences, Cory: Papa done went up to the school and told coach I can't play football no more(WIlson 55). Football is Cory's passion to be great Cory simply communicated what was going on with the job and football. Randomly Troy decides to force Cory off the football team to prevent Cory from becoming better than Troy
