- Iron Curtains Fall In Europe

- Formation of NATO/ Warsaw Pact
- Iron Curtain, the political, military, and ideological barrier erected by the Soviet Union after World War II to seal off itself and its dependent eastern and central European allies from open contact with the West and other non communist areas. The red player representing the cougars and purple representing the huskies because they are rivals and are divided by land.
- Arms Race
- Established that the United States would provide political, military and economic assistance to all democratic nations under threat from external or internal authoritarian forces. Above its the US (cougars) providing troops to fight others (Huskies)
- Cuban Missile Crisis
- Formation of NATO was the formation of several country's coming together so that if any of the NATO countries got attacked, all of them got attacked. The Soviet Union hated being surrounded by NATO countries so he created the Warsaw pact in defense. NATO being the cougasrs having other teams helping them and the Soviet Union being the Huskies.
- The Fall Of The USSR
- The start of Nuclear weapons.Competing with the Soviet Union in the development of arms demonstrated the US’s willingness to go to war over communism. So the Cougars are trying to learn a new play book before the Huskies to be better.
- Cuba was holding Soviet missiles ready to fire on the US. The United States then formed a water blockade around Cuba to prevent imports from the Soviet union. Later a Soviet submarine tried to get through and the US cut their communication and so they thought that WW3 had started and were going to fire nuclear missiles but thankfully didn't.
- The dissolution of the Soviet Union was the process of internal disintegration within the Soviet Union which resulted in the end of the country's and the federal government's existence as a sovereign state, thereby resulting in its fall. The Cougars defeating the Huskies.
