- He saw a little woman baking some cakes and asked her to give a piece of it.
- Yes, I will. Please come in.
- I feel like I would faint from hunger. Lady, could you please give me a piece of cake?
- The cake the woman first baked seemed too big for her to give away. She then tried to bake a smaller cake but it seemed as big as the first one.
- hmm...She is taking too much time. why can't she give a piece from those cakes?
- These cakes seem to be of the same size. They both are way too large to give away. I will prepare another one for you.
- Once, Saint Peter was fasting for a day and was very hungry that he felt he was about to faint.
- I feel very hungry now. I should find something to eat.
- She then baked a thin wafer with a tiny scrap of dough but still wasn't able to give it away. She decided to keep all those cakes in a shelf and prepare another cake but the saint lost his patience.
- Enough now! I have been waiting for too long for you to give me just a piece of cake. You are just being selfish!
- My cakes which seems too small ,when I eat them myself they still seem too large to give away. I will put these in the shelf and just prepare another cake.
- The saint grew angry as he was hungry and faint and such a woman was enough to provoke him.
- You are too selfish to dwell in a human form, to have both food and shelter and fire to keep you warm. Now you shall build as birds do and shall get your scanty food by boring, and boring, and boring, all day in the hard, dry wood!
