- Hey John, thanks for the invite. I have to study for my math test, but I can ask my mom if I can join and study later.
- Hey Sarah, do you want to come to my party tonight? It is the best one of the war!

- On the way to the bus, I began to wonder if I should go to John's party or study for the math test tomorrow. If I don't study I could fail or if I don't go to John's party I could miss the best party of the year!

- Seek Advice
- Hey Mom, I have a question for you? My friend John invited me over for his party, but I have big math test tomorrow? What should I do? John said it was the best party of the year?
- Hey Sarah! I say you should do for what is best for you. It is important to make good decisions so you can avoid harmful consequences.

- Make a decision
- As I was going into my room, I began to wonder about what my mom was saying. If I go to John's party I will have fun and enjoy myself. On the other hand, if I go to the party I won't be able to study for the math test which could mean I won't pass the class. I decided it was right of me to study for the test and say no to Joh's party.

- Hey John, I won't be able to come to your party tonight because I have to study for the math test.

- Thanks Ms Branch. I did study a lot and made some sacrifices but at the end it was worth it!
