  • I can't believe it! This is Curry's 4th 3 pointer!
  • While he made this shot, Curry released CO2 from his body
  • The CO2 makes it way over to this tree. The stomata of the leaf/plant allows carbon dioxide to move by diffusion into the leaf. The leaves then begin the process of photosynthesis which occurs in the cells chloroplasts. Photosynthesis also requires light. In the process of photosynthesis glucose will be created, which helps with making food.
  • Glucose is continuously broken down by a process called fermentation. Fermentation is involved with the production of ATP. That same energy is called on for a different process called cellular respiration which takes place in the mitochondria. In Cellular respiration, the ATP and proteins bond to make water.
  • Oxygen is a byproduct of photosynthesis. Oxygen is the gas that is needed for our survival, on the other hand, plants and trees depend on the carbon dioxide we breathe out for their survival.
  • Perfect!
  • So the next time you gift someone flowers, those flowers are releasing oxygen from Curry's carbon dioxide.
  • So keep in mind that your flowers may contain carbon dioxide molecules from Curry.
