- Underneath the roar of the rustling canopy of trees, Frank is dressed in his school’s uniform with a tie, backpack and textbook. In the humid Garden of Eden, Frank is dressed like he is from Hogwarts.
- CLOCKS
- As his Grandfather's “ahh” and sighs rest in admiration of the ever-present shadow of the Adiyogi jousting the glistening sun, Frank peeks at the statue for a second, narrating “one-two-done” in his head.
- I guess I peeked. ugh
- AHH! What a sight! Take a peek!
- ZZZZZ
- Beyond the lulling “Zzz” of his Grandfather’s snore accompanied with the chirping of crickets, Frank’s textbook converses with him with only one word: “flip, flip and flip.” Through the glass canvas, two young boys vivacious bat as they aspire to become Sir Vivian Richards. Still, Frank bats his index finger across the “ball” of page 256.
- As the historic metal bell clanks at dawn, Frank creaks open the cottage door for the first time in a millennium. Ignoring the etched wood sign to “leave your belongings here please” guarding the dining hall, Frank proceeds with his Textbook.

- CLOCKS
- Steaming fermented rice cakes hide the green of the banana leaf. Despite his hunger, Frank’s “World History” textbooks thuds on the unusual “tablecloth”
- Wondering, “when will breakfast start” Frank rests on a circular bench that happens to be a sundial. Not cognizant of the description on how to interpret the time, Frank rehearses his presentation on clocks. His internal monologue dictates “Out of all clocks in the world, the Big Ben is my-”

- Masking the “caws” of the peacocks and the rustle of the trees, Frank’s earbuds are infused with the voice of David Attenborough’s “Episode One: How to Impress your Teacher with Masterful Presentation Skills.”

- As the shadow of the Sundial shifts 90 degrees, Frank heads to his new “home” to take a nap. Instead of the buzzing vibrations of his newest iPhone 15, Frank’s alarm is another boy shouting “Goall!” By this time, Frank’s Grandpa has already left the room.
- GOAL!
- Realizing that he left his Gatorade bottle on the plane, and already having ignored the urgency to purchase a copper water bottle, Frank consults with a volunteer for the first time: “Hey, do you have any water?” The young volunteer, hesitating to address the elephant in the room, offers the boy fresh-made lemonade.
- Hey, do you have any water?
- Focusing on balancing the lemonade cup in one hand, Frank’s center of mass is offset by the sudden jerk of the volunteer’s hand. As his eyebrow’s twitch, the good samaritan makes a statement that crosses the “box of his job description.” “You look very similar to our donor- by the way, did you RSVP to the group meditation?’

- Due to the good samaritan’s clay-like ability to mold to others' needs, Frank is guided on the whirring golf cart towards the auditorium;he is reminded of the National Gallery when noticing the prolonged pillars.
- At the security gate with the only metal within the retreat, Frank’s grandfather pleads his Grandson’s case like Atticus Finch to the security guard. He politely requests Frank without infringing on his personality: “Check this out, Frank. You might like this.”
- Check this out, Frank!
- Gently and hesitantly loosening the “Lands End: Easy Removal Tie,” Frank’s shoulders relax into his newfound linen clothing. Scraping through the forest tightly gelled hair, Frank’s Grandpa meticulously ties the orange woven Turban, just like the days when he would dress up Frank before the school bus left.
- Transcending his focus from his vocal pitch, which he learned from the BBC, to the fluctuating flow of his breath, Frank encounters what the yogi calls, “a perfectly normal adjustment period.”
- Finding a sense of confidence beyond his monthly academic reports, Frank rises up in a standing ovation for his Grandfather. Throughout the auditorium, “Om’s” vibrate the metal bells to “buzz.” Frank’s vocal cord training comes to use to contribute to the symphony like dynamic trumpet.

- Leaving his lemonade behind, Frank’s grandfather squeezes his hand as they stride through the banana leaves and coconuts scattered on the ground like Columbus and Marco Polo, discovering the unknown in a new light.
- With an Archimedes-like curiosity, Frank revisits the sundial with an abundance of questions for his Grandfather. During this time, he apologizes to his Grandfather for spending quality time during his spring break. “I understood what the yogi said when he said, Now is the time, no tomorrow or yesterday.”

- Clenching his Grandfather’s palm, Frank, for the first time, guides his Grandfather to the future hall of fame of cricketers, and thuds his textbook one last time- into the palms of the shocked boy. Crumpling his presentation notes on Big Ben, Frank writes: “Clocks of the World: The craft of the Sundial”
