Stacey arrives home upset about what Charlie had said about her acne.
Sis are you ok? I am going to come in to talk to you.
Charlie at school made fun of my acne and said I was disgusting.
Stacey don't worry acne is completely normal for a teenager. Here is some scrub that helps clear out clogged pores. Let me explain what acne is.
Your skin is filled with these tiny holes called pores. Sometimes dead skin, oil or dirt get in your pores, this causes red bumps to form. These are called pimples/acne. They usually last 3-7 days but can be longer. Acne is completely normal it is just part of puberty. You will experience many changes and this is one of them. You're not alone 85% of teenagers also get acne. Stand up to Charlie he has no right to speak to you like that.
Formation of pimples
1.Healthy pore.
2.pore clogged with oil, dust or dirt.
3.Inflammation starts (Pimple)
4.Pore ruptures. The puss slowly starts to rise to the top of the pimple.
Charlie I have had enough. Acne is normal, did you know 85% of teenagers get acne. I know I am not alone, I have people to talk to about my acne and I am not ashamed anymore. Stop being a bully and start treating people the way you want to be treated.
Charlie you are getting detention this is not how we treat people! Good job for standing up for yourself Stacey, It was the right thing to do.
Sis I stood up for myself. Thank you for helping me. I am so much more confident about my acne. I know I should be never ashamed because it is totally normal.
I am so glad you finally understand it is totally normal to have acne. I am so proud of you for standing up for yourself. You are going to inspire others not to be ashamed of their pimples.
