Storyboard Text
- Parvana's father has passed and is at his grave putting stones around his grave. Parvana misses him so much. Then a man came patting her on the back trying to make Parvana feel better. "It's ok. He is in a better place now" The man said. Another man came saying "Oh cmon'! Its just his father. Get up and go take a bath and wash your clothes." The 2 men started to argue. Parvana left and went home.
- Parvana left and she was walking untill she heard something. It was an abandoened house and she found a baby crying beside his dead mother. She picked up the baby and named him Hassan. She washed him in the bathroom and cooked food. She lived there for a while. She grabbed all the food to survive. Then she walked out and saw a farm a long way from where she was. She walked all the way there and lived there. Chickens were still alive and laying eggs so she used that for food and survival.
- She cooked food for dinner and she did it perfectly. After one day on the farm, she sees the Taliban far away coming to the farm. She was freaking out. She grabbed her backpack of food and Hassan and ran out. She ran as fast as she can for a very long time. After a while she found a cave so she decided to live in there. She got hit my rocks multiple times. She walked closer and saw a boy . His name was Asif and he was very rude.
- Parvana was asking Asif what happened to his leg. Asif goes "A monster chased me and bit my leg off, he comes here every night and he might eat you. Hopefully he eats you." Parvana started to throw rocks at him . She got annoyed so she started to write to Shauzia (Her best friend) Then after a while she shut her book and looked over and saw a stream. "Look a stream!" she says in excitement. She started to wash Hassan and she forcefully statred to was Asifs hair. He was very smelly.
- Parvana, Asif and Hassan were very tired and lying down. Parvana fell back and found a wall that led them into a mine. Everyone rushed into there thinking its a secret passage that would lead them out and away from the Taliban but nooo, they were wrong. It was just a mine. Parvana heard something and walked up closer to the sound. It was a little kid and her grandmother! Leila and grandmother. They all took care of eachother until they saw the Tailiban coming their way. They know that had to leave the mine.
- Parvana picked up grandmother while Asif held Hassan and they jumped off and ran into a villiage. They found a doctor and she fed all of them medicine and healed their scars. They were running because a bombing started to happen. Grandmother died. Leila got hit by a bomb and was bleeding. She cried "Parvana it hurts its hurts!" She was to young to handle the pain. She passed and Parvana was to late to save her. She cried and cried. The bombing stopped after a while.
