Anger and Hammer

Anger and Hammer

Storyboard Text

  • School is so annoying and making friends is just a waste of time.
  • Don't worry hon, I'll talk to him. I have an idea on how we are going to discipline him.
  • I wonder what's wrong with our parenting, hon. Kyle's becoming impatient and hot-tempered these days.
  • Well, whenever you are angry, you should hammer a nail into the family's fence.
  • Son, here's a hammer and a nail.
  • What am I going to do with that, dad?
  • Tsssk. Okay, dad.
  • I hate this day so much. Maybe I should be less mad so I won't get too tired hammering nails here.
  • Okay son, remove a nail from the fence every day that you are able to control your temper.
  • Dad, I don't want to hammer nails in our fence anymore. It is exhausting!
  • You have done well son in removing the nails over the past weeks.
  • However, look at the holes in the fence. They cannot be repaired.
  • When you get angry at other people, it leaves a scar like the holes you can see in front of you.
  • I know dad. I'm sorry. Next time I'll be more careful with my words and actions as it could either make or break someone's life and mine too.
