- The Bay of Pigs Invasion
- The U.S got involved after Japan had a surprise attack on the U.S. and bombed a military base in Hawaii named Pearl Harbor.  The U.S. bombed Japan and eventually helped end the war.
- The Cuban Missile Crisis
- The U.S. got involved in the Cold War to stop the spread of communism around the country.  The U.S .'s goal  for this war was to contain communism.
- The Iran Hostage Crisis
- The U.S. got involved got involved  with the Bay Of Pigs war because they wanted to overthrow Cuba's communist government over Fidel Castro.  They used Cuban Exiles to try and overthrow Castro but their plan failed terribly. 
- 9/11 aka "The War On Terror"
- The U.S. got involved  in this encounter to stop the Soviet Union from placing nuclear missiles on Cuba. The United States eventually convinced the Soviet Union to take back the bombs that were facing towards America.
- The U.S. got involved in this war because Iranian protesters kidnapped staff of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran. Eventually the Iranian protesters let the American employees go after 444 days.
- The U.S. got involved in the War O Terror because Al-Qaeda terrorists took control of commercial jet planes and crashed them into the World Trade Center and pentagon; the United States invaded Afghanistan when the Taliban refused to hand over Al-Qaeda leaders. To this day their is still troops in Afghanistan fighting to find Bin Laden the master mind of this attack and 9/11 will be a day too forever live in infamy.
