- Hey Jack! Why are you just sitting here starring at Lexi? I thought you didn’t like her.
- Oh! Hey Sam, I didn’t see you there. I was just, umm, looking at her new shirt.
- Is everything okay Jack? You sound kind of suspicious.
- Honestly Sam, I don’t know what to do. Im at a loss for words, and I don’t know why I’m feeling this way.
- Im here for you Jack. Let’s talk about it while we walk to lunch.
- Thanks Sam. When I first met Lexi, I was trying to be the guy she wanted me to be. I played hard to get in hopes that she would fall for me. I knew she was a good girl and I wanted to be with her.
- So what happened Jack? Why aren’t you with her?
- Well Sam, I promised my childhood best friend that we would go to prom together. When Lexi found out, she got mad at me and that caused me to react. I didn’t mean to, I just didn’t know what to do.
- Oh Jack! That doesn’t seem too good.
- Sam, I tried to apologize to her, but now she’s doing the same thing to me. She’s trying to play hard to get and make me jealous. I keep telling myself that it’s whatever and I don’t care, but I know that deep down im in love with Lexi and I want to be with her. I keep doubting my love for her, and I don’t know what to do.
- Well Jack, I think that you’re suppressing your love and feelings for her. It’s not healthy to do. I think that if she’s the girl you love, you should go talk to her. You can’t doubt how you feel.
- You’re right Sam. I’m going to try talking to her on the bus. Thank you I really appreciate it. I didn’t realize I was suppressing my emotions, until you pointed it out. Thanks for the advice.
