Discover many real facts about the spread of the Black Death and how people's beliefs in religion and medicine changed due to their loss of faith in the church and god.

Storyboard Text

  • It all began in 1945. (believably in China/Gobi desert)
  • It spread from flea, to rat, to cat, to dog
  • T'was a long time ago when many lives were treated by theDeadly Black Death
  • They also had bad immune systems, bad health, and no heygein, so most (60%) ended up dying.
  • And eventually humans
  • The people who experienced the Black Death were so surprised by the sudden virus that they were totally unprepared.
  • The streets became really dirty because no one could be bothered to clean then
  • RIP
  • CLOSED
  • Dump em'
  • There where so many dead bodies, they had to dig giant holes for the dead
  • Soon, the virus spread from town to town, the death toll rising.
  • There where also rats everywhere
  • The Black Death eventually spread to the trading docs of the Mediterranean sea, where it traveled over the waters to distant countries.
  • Many disorientated beliefs in how the Black Death began were spreading with the virus (including the rare alignment of planets.)
  • Meanwhile, It was also infecting many popular trading routes including the silk road.
  • As the world drowned in chaos and despair, religious people lost faith in the church and cults supporting the killing of jews arose.
  • As proper medicine didn't exist, ordinary people came up with their own unhelpful resolutions such as: Leaching, good smells, loud noises, self punishment, cutting Beubos and filling them with dried cane toad and human feces and sniffing lemon leaves and herbs. And also quarinteening.
  • There was also a labor (farmer) shortage and many began to starve.
  • Quarrinteening was the only one that worked...
  • The most common job became the Plague Doctors, who scammed people and insisted on high pay.
  • Towns were abando-end as qurintee-ners fleed the chaoes.
  • Until it didn't
  • It became so bad that some people had their windows reinforced with bricks so they couldn't escape.
  • People completely trapped in their homes qurrinteening (for 40 days) either died of the virus or of starvation.
  • It took 200 years for the population rates to recover.
