Plants get water from the ground. The water enters through the plant's roots and is transported to the leaves by the xylem. Carbon dioxide is then collected from the atmosphere and is absorbed through little openings in the leaves called stomata.
Inputs
The water and carbon dioxide that was collected spread through the leaves and into cells. In these cells, there are chloroplasts which contain a pigment called chlorophyll. Chlorophyll then uses light energy from the sun as chemical energy.
outputs
That energy then splits the water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen atoms. Those atoms are used to create glucose. Oxygen is then released as a waste product.
Equation
When our bodies digest foods it's broken down into a sugar called glucose Glucose is a chemical reactant that produces ATP that we need in our body. When the animal digests the apple it turns into glucose.Oxygen also enters our body when we breath it in based on the atmosphere that we are around, which makes Glucose and Oxygen inputs.

Carbon dioxide is a waste that is released into the atmosphere its removed out of our bodies as we exhale the oxygen. Water is another was as well. Waste products can also be taken out the same was as Carbon dioxide which makes both of them outputs in the cellulr respiration.
