- It was very long, and caused a major amount of Debt for Birtain.

- HIS MAJESTY HAS ANNOUNCED A NEW PROCLAMATION, STATING THAT THERE SHALL BE NO SETTLEMENT BEYOND THE APPALACHIAN MOUNTAIN RANGES.ALONG WITH THE INTRODUCTION OF VARIOUS NEW TAXES AND FEES, TO HELP PAY FOR THE DEBT OF THE WAR (YOU CAUSED)
- THIS IS FILTHY, IT INHIBITS OUR RIGHTS!WHY THE PUNISHMENT!YOU THINK YOU CAN CONTROLL US?
- Boycotts soon followed, and the Stamp Act passed by Parliment was repealed. However, the clever Declaratory Act was passed, declaring that Parliment could tax the colonie showever it wanted.BUT, it didn't stop there, and many more Acts were introduced.All of wich were introduced without the colonist's consents. The colonists did not repect Britain and its Laws.

- In response to all these violations of Colonist rights. In 1773, various rebellious Colonists, dressed as Indians, boarded a British Tea Ship, and dumped all of its cargo.This was due mostly because of the Tea Act, wich the colonists specially hated, but it was fuelled by all of the Britishgovernment's actions..

- The Boston Tea Party was the final straw into driving Parlimnet ad the king angry. Thereby they passed the Coercive Acts, to try to break up the colonies and prevent further rebellion. These DIRECTLY violated colonist rights as English citizens
- Undoubtedly, the people of America were very angered by this, and the intended effect of the Coercive Acts, were opposite of what actaully happened.Therefore, as we know, the first Constitutional Convention was made, to adress the King.Wich failed, and led to the writing of the Declaration of Independence.
