- 1 year ago on Thanksgiving day, my family just finished having Thanksgiving dinner my aunts made a presentation going over our culture Salvadorian culture and they showed us a video of their home when they where younger.
- okay kids now that we are done with dinner me and your Aunt want to show you a video from our home in El Salvador.
- We want you all to be more thankful for the things that you have. and understand our culture from El Salvador.
- This video showed my aunts and uncles traversing this jungle to their home. And how long the walk was from their home to the nearest town and numerous farms they lived by.
- My Aunts and uncles later showed us a video from the 1990's of them going through the jungles of El Salvador to show us their hometown and their childhood home so we can understand they came from.
- that was how are home looked like when use to live in EL Salvador.
- Then for the rest of the evening my aunts and uncles discussed why there grateful to be living here in the United States along with the traditions and Salvadorian culture.
