Storyboard Text

  • Intro / Step 1
  • (3) Water and minerals are present in the soil. Because they are in the soil, the plants roots take in the water.
  • (2) These plants over here produce oxygen believe it or not. Today I am going to show you how they do this!
  • (1) Hi children. I am Scientist Ruth. I am here to educate you guys on Photosynthesis. Lets get Started.
  • Step 2
  • (1) The stems you see on the plants are scientifically called vesels and the vesels import the water up to the leaves.
  • (2) Oh hey squirrel! What are you doing here?
  • (3) Of course.
  • Hey Scientist Ruth. You telling the beutiful humans about Photosynthesis looks so much fun and I was wondering if I could explain the next step?
  • (2) Yay
  • Step 2
  • After the water gets imported into the leaves, carbon dioxide goes into the little pores on the leaves. The oxygen that is produced as a byproduct of photosunthesis, exits the pores. These pores are called Stomata.
  • (1) Hey kids, photosynthesis is my favourite and I think its so much fun.
  • Step 4
  • (1) That was awesome squirrel, how about we do the next one together!
  • (2) Cells on the leaves have a cell wall Within this, there is a jelly like substance called cytoplasma.
  • Last step / Step 5
  • (1) Okay! Bye!! Now that squirrel is gone, we can review the last step of plants making oxegyn.
  • (2) We all know that the sun is the solution to everything. When the sun is out, carbon dioxide and water mix together to make oxygen!
  • Outro
  • (3) BYE!!!!
  • (2) I hope you all enjoyed my presentation of photosynthesis and I hope you learned something new!
  • (1) I'm back in my science lab!
  • (2) The most important part of photosynthesis is a structure called chloroplast. It contains the clorophyll pigment. This is were site of photosynthesis takes place.
  • (1) Okay!
  • (1) I am goint to go get some nuts, bye Scientist Ruth!
