  • Hello, Baudelaires, your parents have perished in a tragic fire. You will now be living with Count Olaf.
  • I wonder why mom and dad told us to come here. I wish they could see my picnic invention.
  • Here is when Mr.Poe (the accountant) tells the Baudelaire kids that their parents have perished in a fire in their house and now they are orphans.
  • I don't know, but good job with the invention... but wait, do you see that shadowy figure?
  • The Baudelaire kids and Mr.Poe have arrived to Count Olafs house. He is a cousin 3 times removed.
  • Hello.... children.
  • This is your new house.
  • This is your room. You will all have to sleep in the same bed. After you are done setteling in, you will clean.
  • You will wash dishes, clean the bathroom with a toothbrush, mop the floor, clean the walls and borders and make an exquisite meal for me and my .

  • When Mr.Poe left, Count Olaf completely changed his attitude. He made the kids go to work right away. Here, he is telling them to clean the bathroom and make a feast for him and his friends.

  • Here, the kids are trying their hardest to cook a fancy meal for Count Olaf and his theatre friends, but they have so much to do like clean the room! They are so sad!
  • Here are the Baudelaire kids cleaning their room. They realized that the bed is way to tiny to fit all three of them. Looks like they are going to have to take turns sleeping on the bed.
