- Scene I: Macbeth doesn't trust Banquo, and fears that his sons will take his place one the throne.
- Scene I: Macbeth spots a floating dagger because he is worried about killing the king.
- Scene II: Macbeth comes back from killing Duncan and he forgot to leave the dagger in the kings room, Lady Macbeth is annoyed.
- Scene III: Macduff goes to wake up the king and finds him dead.
- Scene III: Macbeth goes into the kings room and kills the guards.
- Scene IV: Ross and an old man talk about how Macduff says that Macbeth will be King.
