- Hey Jessica! I am so glad you are here! Hopefully the drive here wasn't too bad! I know driving here to Newark can be confusing.
- Speaking of Newark, did you know our favorite artist, Whitney Houston was born here!!! And she even runs a foundation called Whitney Houston Foundation for Children Inc.
- Whaaatt! No way! I mean I did know she was born here but I didn't know that.
- Also, if you drive 5 minutes from here, there are inner city parks and playgrounds she funded so kids can play around and have fun!
- Yeahh! And the school right over there, that was where she attended elementary school. They even changed the name after her to The Whitney E. Houston Academy for performing Creative Arts
- I knoww! I researched more about her foundation and their mission is to take the next generation to a level unimaginable in a positive way, especially for homeless children. She also supports other charities, too!
- Wow..she is a great singer and actress with 170 million combined albums, singles, and videos. On top of that, she is an amazing person too! She must have the heart to protect and love children.
