- Gisuke was concerned about his 24-year-old son, Yoshitaro who climbs on the roof of his house watching the sunset. No matter how hard the father tries, his son still won't come down. Kichiji, his servant, was ordered to bring his son down.
- Their neighbor, Tosaku, noticed Yoshitaro on the roof once again. The kind neighbor recommended that someone can cure his son. Specifically, A Holy Woman.
- The Holy Woman came to the house and concluded that Yoshitaro was possessed by an evil spirit. She began the treatment immediately.
- THE END
- Suddenly, Yoshitaro's brother, Suegiro stopped the process immediately. He saved his brother and revealed the Holy Woman to be a fraud who is faking it for money. He told them that his brother was not possessed by an evil spirit but rather have a serious condition.
- In the end, The parents accepted the truth about their elder son. Watching him climb on the roof and watch the sunset. Brotherly love always prevails and makes the family united and happy.
- Moral of the story: Accept people for who they are and what they have.
