- This is montags and faber's first time meeting each other in the park a year ago from the time the story takes place. Montag asks if he was a literature teacher and Faber gets defensive and denies at first. After he says he is a starts telling montag poem quotes. This is the first interaction we see with them and we learn faber is going to help montag bring books back to the society.
- Slide: 2
- After Faber agrees to help Montag he comes home and sees his wifes friends. They are talking about things you would think are very unusual for us.in our society. If her husband died just get a new one. How the war that is coming is nothing to them. After montag hears this he goes and gets one of the books he hid and read a poem from it. Montag's wife gets nervous faber tells him to stop but montag is furious the friends start getting sad and confused and they leave crying.

- Montag's wife starts to burn the books slowly so montag would not notice but he does. Montag decides to move the books hidden in his backyard and goes to work. When he gets there beatty talks to him montag can only think of books and his plan. Beatty confuses montag with talking about his knowledge of books and poems =. When they get a call about a house that may have books. The house is no others than montags
