Most farmers and Mesopotamians used the Tigris and Euphrates to make irrigation ways to grow their crops.this created a more effective and more efficient way to grow crops. Mesopotamians used these rivers because it made the land Fertile, which made the Fertile crescent, this made silt, which is good for farming. This made a surplus of grain and wheat for the Mesopotamians.

We're polytheistic, we believe in multiple gods, such as Marduk, Anu, and Nanna
In Ancient Mesopotamia, people believed in multiple gods, which made them Polytheistic. Some people had requests for priests and priestesses since the they could communicate with the gods, their requests would be things rain. There were a lot of gods that they believed in for a while, while there were other gods that were only worshipped for a short amount of time. Priests and Priestesses could communicate with the gods, and gave the gods food and water everyday.

Ancient Mesopotamia invented lots of things that we use today. Cuneiform us a example. It was the earliest form of writing that they used. They used Clay Tablets to keep track of trading goods and taxes. Their currency was shekels, this is what they used to buy goods. They also invented ziggurats. They look like pyramids, this is where Priests and Priestesses would give food and water to the gods, and where people worshipped the gods. One of their main inventions is Irrigation. They build small rivers that lead to their crops so that they could water their crops easily, it created silt which is good for their crops.
