The winter at valley forge was rough for the american soldiers. The soldiers were very low on resources and many got sick or even died during this time. However, even though this brought so much struggle, this also shaped our country even to this day.

George Washington's Quarters
Gorge Washingtons head quarters were very important during the time of the colonists vs. redcoats. This is where gorge Washington had most of his important meetings with many other people who shaped our country. Gorge Washington would stay at this building while he was set and not on the go.

Soldiers Quarters
The colonists would build log houses. It was said that they built about 2,000 of these houses. It took about a week to make each, they were placed along military streets. Per Gorge Washintons request, each hut had to have 2 windows.

Problems Faced by the Soldiers #1
Many soldiers had gotten sick or even died during this hard time. Resources were highly scarce, and they were drastically out numbered compared to the British.
