  • I wonder how plants like this grass grow?
  • Grass grows by a form of cell energy called photosynthesis! it is how plants get their energy, like how we get our energy by a form of cell energy called cellular respiration!
  • That's good to know! I know about aerobic and anaerobic respiration, but not those! I know that aerobic respiration uses oxygen and anaerobic respiration doesn't, and aerobic respiration makes a lot more energy!
  • I've heard that there is different forms of anaerobic respiration but I don't know what they are, if you know could you tell me?
  • Well basically there is 2 side forms of anaerobic respiration, which are alcoholic fermentation, and lactic acid fermentation. Alcoholic fermentation is yeast cells, which is how bread rises when it is cooking. Lactic acid fermentation is when your muscles tense up because you are working out and you cant breathe so energy comes from your muscles and it hurts because the muscles are being used
  • wow that's really cool! just because your so nice i'm going to tell you everything i Know about photosynthesis! So photosynthesis only occurs in plant cells, like the grass you where talking about earlier, and it occurs in the chloroplast of the cell. In photosynthesis, the plant takes in CO2 and turns it into glucose, which is also known as sugar, ang oxygen for humans to breath! And as you know humans breathe in the Oxygen and breathe out the CO2 for the plants to breathe! That is how the Cordon Cycle works!
