- My first Ramadan ever. I'm so excited to be apart of this tradition! A 30 day fasting, a great time to learn self-control and expand my faith.
- Is everyone ready for Suhoor!
- What is Suhoor?
- Suhoor is the first meal of the day for Ramadan. It helps us to get our protein and energy before we start the day
- Allah Akbar, Subhana Kal-lah hum-ma wabi hamdika.
- Allah Akbar, Subhana Kal-lah hum-ma wabi hamdika.
- It is time to start Fajr. Repeat what l say. Allah Akbar, Subhana Kal-lah hum-ma wabi hamdika. (Glory be to you, O Allah, and all praises are due unto you)
- Prayer Room (Quiet Please)
- Have a good day at school, Fatima! Make sure not to eat or drink anything.
- Okay mom, l will make sure!

- Everyone. Come collect you're test
- No, I missed the Dhuhr prayer and l am hungry. Can't wait to go home!
- Don't worry, we are exempt from the Duhur prayer due to school.
- How was you're day? Hurry up, mom and l are waiting for you to do the Asr prayer.
- Good, l was hungry! Let me put my bag away and l will come to the prayer room.

- Fatima, are you ready for Iftar which is when we break our fast during sunrise.
- Yes, l am ready, don't we have to say a prayer before we break our fast.
- Yes, Fatima, say with me, Allahumma laka sumt, wa ala rizqika aftart. (Allah, for you have I fasted and with your sustenance I break my fast.)
- Oh, sorry, dad, l almost forgot!
- Hey, Fatima, we are you off too, we still have to do the second last prayer of the day, Maghrib, we always do it right after Iftar.
- Allahu Akbar, Allahumma Salli Ala Muhammadin Wa Ala' Aali Muhammad.

- It is time to start Maghrib. Repeat what l say. Allahu Akbar, Allahumma Salli Ala Muhammadin Wa Ala' Aali Muhammad. (Oh Allah, send grace and honour on Muhammad and on the family and true followers of Muhammad.)

- Fatima as it is the time Ramadan. We must donate to charity to give to the less fortunate.
- Alright, Fatima, we must do the last prayer of the day which is Isha. Then, you have to go to sleep to wake up early for Suhoor.

- Wow that was a long day. Throughout this day, l have understood how l should not take my life for granted and these prayers have gotten me closer to Allah. Well, 29 days more to go!
