- As a fifth grader, I am the oldest in the school and that comes with a lot of responsibility.

- It is so much fun and the fifth graders always have the most important dance because they’re the graduating class.
- Everything was going to be amazing, the theme this year was The “90’s.” My friends and I had this amazing dance to the song, “Wannabe.”
- It was all so perfect, until the quarantine forced schools to close.
- Being a fifth grader was supposed to be the best year of my life, and then all of a sudden I was stuck learning from home.
- I was really disappointed and didn’t know what to do.
- Then one day, I woke up to one of my friend’s telling me that the Variety Show was back on.
- My friend told me that we were going to all film our dances individually. Their mom would then sync all the dances together and make an awesome video.
- Finally, the day came when I got the email that the video was ready. I was so excited to watch it!
- The video was incredible and I was so proud to show it to my family.
- I hope that our video will show the younger students that anything is possible as long as you are willing to try.
