- What are these strange creatures? How oddly dressed they are!
- All hail Macbeth!
- Hail Macbeth, Thane of Glamis!
- You shall soon be Thane of Cawdor...
- And soon you shall be the King, as well.
- Do you think there might be some truth to these unearthly prophecies?
- To be frank, I do not think those creatures are to be trusted. You mustn't pay heed to such things.
- To reward you for your bravery on the battlefield, the King has appointed you the new Thane of Cawdor.
- Two noblemen, Ross and Angus, enter the scene.
- But how is that so? The Thane of Cawdor is a living and healthy man.
- The Thane of Cawdor is to be executed for treason.
- You seem mystified with this turn of events.. Don't tell me you are starting to believe in the strange message we were told?
- Hmm...
- I hardly think such a thing could be a coincidence.. I believe that, someday or the other, I will be King. I will make sure of it.
