- I had a very hard time starting off in my new private school because it was all a huge adjustment to make but meeting my new friends really helped.
- Most of the year though, I felt really overwhelmed and dreaded going to school everyday. My new school seemed like a whole other world from my old school and I always felt anxious.

- I began to develop really bad anxiety. I felt stressed over school and had my own concerns with people who weren't being the kindest to me.
- I tried my best to stay positive but it was a tough and stressful time for me. It took a while for me to fully adjust to all the change.

- If it wasn't from all the support I received from my mom, teachers, and friends I wouldn't have been able to overcome my stress and anxiety!
- I realized something about my friendships at my new school. They weren't just my friends, they were family. This was the first time I had friends that didn't just last inside of the school walls.
- This year, despite all the hardships, has really taught me an important lesson in never judging something before you experience it. If I had never came here I would have never met all these amazing people and developed some strong friendships!
