- Scott looks around looking for an excuse not to go. Um, I´ll be there in a sec .
- scena 19INT. COURTYARDThe three girls walk off as everyone is laughing. Scott walks off in the opposite direction pushing through the crowd as they throw objects at him. The school bell goes as everyone starts heading back to class. Jimmy walks up to Scott.
- cheer up, they'll soon forget about it. Let´s head to class
- scena 20EXT. COURTYARD Jimmy walks off as Scott hangs back. Scott looks around hopelessly and goes to walk off to class as a nerdy girl, penny (17), approaches him. one person from the group is still around and throws paper ar scott as he runs off attemting to catch the others .
- Do you know why they 're laughing at me?
- No. but i'm sure it's nothiing.
- Scott doesn't look at penny
- Hi, Scott, don´t worry about the others. they´re just idiots
- I´m Penny. it's my first day
- Do you want to go get some coffee after class?
- scena 21EXT. COURTYARD Scott looks around. he can´t make eye contact with her. Scott looks at Penny and smiles as the two walk of together towards class.
