- "Hey loser!Where's your lunch money?Don't think I forgot about it!"Tom the school bully snarled menacingly at John.Tom was the infamous school bully and even some teachers was afraid of him, he was tall and big and a face with no pity.He gang members were all the same, although all of them were brainless."I don't have...any...money..."John stuttered nervously as he broke out in cold sweat."No money?"Tom snarled and his gang members smiled coldly.John flinched as Tom's hand came crashing down on his head.Before he could though, the bell rang, saving john.As Tom and his gang members trudged away angrily.
- John was the new transfer student to the school and very unfortunately to him, the first day of school, he banged into Tom which was not at all happy about it.John was picked on everyday by Tom and he threatened him that if he told a teacher or his parent.He would beat him up.Because of Tom, no one dared to be his friend, even though he was friendly and had good grades.Every school has a unpopular kid and that kid was John.
- John's face turned white and his hands turned cold and clammy as he thought of what Tom was going to do to him after school.He was sitting in the toilet eating his lunch,when a thought said by his mother countless times struck him"You have to be brave John!"He could not bear the bullying any longer.Even a person like him has his limits.He had to tell a teacher about what he was going through.He took a deep breath and walked out of the toilet, determination on his face.
- After calming himself down a bit,John nervously knocked on the principal's door.The principal welcomed him warmly and a nervous-stricken John started explaining what he was going through.What Tom and his gang would do to him everyday.How he had to eat his lunch in the toilet.The principal was very understanding and decided to take action immediately.Tom and his gang was called to the office.It took quite a long time for them to confess.Their faces were as red as tomatoes when they came out of the office.
- After knowing the whole story from head to tail,the principal was as angry as a bull in a china shop.He immediately suspended Tom and his gang and demanded for the gang to give back the money they had stole from John.The bullies' faces were filled with shock, anger and some had a pint of remorse on it.John was proud of himself for standing up for himself.
- From this experience, John learnt that he had to stand up for himself,he hoped that the bullies learnt their lesson and that they deserved their punishment.
