- EVENT 1
- While on the boat Rainsford went to smoke and accidently dropped his cigarette and when he tried to get his cigarette he fell off the boat and into the water.
- He lunged for it; a short, hoarse cry came from his lips as he realized he had reached too far and had lost his balance.
- EVENT 2
- After Rainsford fell off the boat he heard animal yells and swam closer to the sound and reached a flat surface.
- Dense jungle came around to the very end of the cliffs.
- EVENT 3
- Rainsford saw a mansion and walked towards it and knocked on the door.
- The first thing Rainsford's eyes discerned was the largest man Rainsford had ever seen--a gigantic creature, solidly made and black-bearded to the waist.
- EVENT 4
- Rainsford had a shocking dinner with Zaroff learning some very strange things about him.
- If he does now wish to hunt, I turn him over to Ivan.
- EVENT 5
- Rainsford was near a cliff and heard Zaroff's dangerous hounds coming after him and decided he had no choice but to jump.
- Twenty feet below him the sea rumbled and hissed. Rainsford hesitated. He heard the hounds.Then he leaped far out into the sea....
- EVENT 6
- General Zaroff had thought Rainsford had died but got a huge surprise when Rainsford climbed through his window.
- The general sucked in his breathe and smiled. I congratulate you, he said. You have won the game.
