- August 27, 1900
- The Galveston Hurricane was the worst hurricane to hit the united states and there were so many losses because we did not listen to cuba and there warnings about how there was a hurricane coming
- 1914-18
- World War 1 was mainly about other countries but there were still some things discovered that were involving texas like how the telegram was translated that was supposed to be going to mexico and that many texans became mad at mexico
- the great depression happened because our economy was relying on one main thing which is the fall of many economies in our world today. many people lost there jobs and money. parents would send the kids off with a little money so that they could hopefully find there way to a better life. it was a very dark time in the united states an we got out of it because of world war two
- August 1929-39
- the dust bowl was an era mainly in the south where many people were losing there soil because they abused it and it became bad. there were many dust storms full of thick debris that would fill up animal lungs and human lungs if we weren't careful. we could not do anything for the animals but we could help ourselves.
- 1930-36
- It is world war two and we are back in the trenches. this brought us out of the great depression but it took lots of americans life as they were fighting different countries.
- 1939-45
- 1963
- the day that JFK was assassinated was a very eventful time in the united states because no one knew who the actual killer was and many people have speculations that there were multiple shooters there that killed this poor president. many people have many theories that even say it was shot from an umbrella
