- ~ I have an eidetic memory.~ I am vice-president of the Balcarres Art Club, and Secretary for the Dystopia Comic Club~ I grew up in Europe until about age 10~ I have a 20 pound Norwegian Forest Cat named Ninja Ikea~ I can play 10 instruments and am fluent in 5 languages but can hold a conversation in quite a few more.~ I have both a coffee and a shopping problem.~ I want to be a science teacher.~ My favorite color is Green~ I have some semblance of fashion sense~ I refuse to get a backpack and will adamantly stuff things into my tiny purse.~ I only write in cursive, and usually with a fountain pen, dip pen or quill~ I am from Alexander First Nation Reserve in Treaty 6
- About Me ~ S. E. (Salty) Turtle
- ~ I know that treaties were agreements made between the government and first nations people so that the government could take over the first nation's territory and the first nations would be compensated~ I know 5there are disagreements over treaties, and land claims because there were misunderstandings in language about the treaties.~ The government never followed the treaties and is now trying to make up for it.~ As for what I have learned about men/women roles and cultural protocol in class, I learned that there are designations for which gender is supposed to sit, that the societies people were a part of were often inherited, the protocol for smudging, that men have to be the helpers at feasts, and the name for women is symbolic and comes from fire,
