- Lori works at a private company and is known for being diligent and professional. She enjoys her job, but she often feels uncomfortable during team meetings because of her supervisor’s remarks. Every day, as she goes to the office, Lori feels uneasy and uncomfortable, thinking about what might happen at work.

- HR conducts a meeting with Mr. Cruz, the coworker who dismissed the issue as a joke, and Lori. The incident is formally reviewed, and HR explains that the behavior violates company policy and RA 11313, which prohibits gender-based harassment in the workplace. Mr. Cruz is given a formal warning and required to attend sensitivity training to prevent future incidents.
- HR: We are here to address the inappropriate jokes that violated workplace policy and RA 11313.Mr. Cruz: I understand now that my jokes were wrong. I apologize.Coworker: I thought it was just a joke before, but I see how it caused harm.
