- The annual election of the Board of Trustees in 1971- 1972 marked the election of Chairman Atty. Juan V. Ramos (1971-1973). Mrs. Flordeliza M. Arguelles was elected as the Fourth President of WPC. Atty. Florencio de Loyola became the dean of Student Affairs (1971-1988). Atty. Eliseo Austria was the vice president for academic affairs (1971-1977).
- Dr. Maximo B. Ramos was the dean of the Graduate Studies and Research. Dr. Corazon B. Cabrera was the dean of the College of Liberal Arts (1971-1982) and concurrent assistant dean of Graduate Studies and Research. Mr. Juan P. Lozano II was the dean of the College of Commerce. Mrs. Dolores H. Solis was the registrar from 1971 to her retirement in September 14, 2006. Mrs. Carmen de Castro became the officer-in-charge of the Property Office and later on became the Property Custodian until her retirement in 2010. Atty. Vicente A. Mayo was elected chairman of the Board of Trustees, the position he held until the present. Dr. Antonio Javier was appointed dean of the Graduate Studies and Research (1973-1983)
- During Dr. Javier's term as dean of Graduate" Studies, he strove to add major courses such as English, Social Sciences, Filipino, and Educational Administration to the Graduate School programs; hence, increasing the enrolees to 253 students.
