- Im going to create a map of this coast and be the first European explorer to discover this.

- In 1519 Pineda sailed to a river most likely known as the Rio Grande. The further he sailed he discovered and explored the Texas Coast which is also known as the Gulf of Mexico. Pineda created a map of where they had explored and he was also the first European explorer to discover the Gulf of Mexico.
- Coronado
- I shall name this the Grand Canyon!
- de Vaca departed from Spain in 1527 with 5 other ships. He and 300 men landed on the Florida Coast and were stranded from the other ships. They were low on food and men were dying ,leaving them with around 250 men. They started their long journey in 1528 by building rafts and went on until 1529, when de Vaca got really sick during the winter time and only him and 12 others survived this journey with the help of Indian tribes.
- Cortes
- As you wish my people i will grant you with special abilities.
- In 1685 La Salle came to Texas as a nalready famous French explorer. He sailed out with 4 ships and lost 2 ships along the way and in 1686 only 45 people were left with him. While La Salle went to Mexico to get supplies, their fort was attacked. In 1687 he and the survivors were left for French Canada and La Salle was killed by his men along the way.
- Reasons for Exploration
- I will go find the gold for our riches!
- I will go make the Indian tribes christian and have them belive in our God.
- In 1540 Coronado and and more than 1000 men went to search for the golden city. He ended up finding the Grand Canyon, the Pacific Ocean and Kansas but never the city of gold.
- Cortes was sent to Mexico in 1519 by Cuba when he arrived the Aztecs viewed them as their God because of his horses, firearms, and metal armor.

- The Reasons for Exploration contain3 main thing that are Gold for their money, glory and god for them to worship.
