- Hahaha! Brer Box Cooter, You are so slow! I bet no animal is slower that you.
- Conflict
- Rising Action
- Brer Rabbit and Brer Box Cooter are neighbours. Sometimes Bere Rabbit pokes Bere Cooter because he is slow. (Read the dialoge) After hearing that Brer Cooter will beat him in a footrace he trembled from laugher.
- Climax
- Don't be disrespected Brer Rabbit. I bet I can beat you in a footrace.
- After a while, Brer Rabbit invited Brer Wolf and Bere Fox to see the race in the woods. Brer Cooter heard them talking and now could not back out from it.
- Falling Action
- At the starting point, Brer Rabbit stormed away running while leaving Bere Box Cooter in the dust. He ran so fast that in some moments he went invisible in the woods where Brer Cooter just walked a few steps.
- Resolution
- By running about the half path in so short time, Brer Rabbit thought that it would be a good idea to take a short nap and after waking up he could also run the remaining distance, and this is so Brer Rabbit did.
- The Rabbit so long that Brer Cotter caught up to him and sneakily walked beside him because of seeing him sleeping. Brer Rabbit was still sleeping and so Brer Cooter went ahead of him.
- Finally, Bere Rabbit woke up and ran as fast as he can. After he arrived at the finishing point and was astonished by seeing Brer Cooter was there before him. He suddenly felt guilty of all the pocking and trash-talking. From this race, he learnt an important lesson- that it never pays to brag or to poke fun at another creature.
