- We want CHANGE!!!Less hours, more pay
- Workers were very angry. They wanted better work envirorments, more money and less hours. The Russian workers were angry with Czar Nicholas II.
- The workers decided they wanted to be heard. They went to Czar's palace to ONLY do a peaceful protest. But the soliders fired throughout an unarmed crowd. This day was named Bloody Sunday.
- Valdmiri Lenin was very angry by what happend. He wanted to try and take control of the government. Valdmiri wanted to lead just like Karl Marx. He inspired workers to force Czar Nicholas II to abdicate the throne in March revolution.
- After Nicholas II abdicated the throne, Lenini wanted total power. Whenever there is power involved war is soon to follow. Lenin led the red army, which was Bolshevik against the white army. Russia was now in a civil war. But Lenin ended up winning and took control of Russia. He then made it a communist society. He would later creat the USSR or the solivets.
- Lenin died 2 years after having a stroke. Then Joseph Stalin saw the opening and took it. He would take over Russia.
- Joseph Stalin wasted no time and making Russia his. He became a dictator. He made it a totalitarian governement. He could control everyones public and personal lives. He would use properganda, censorship, and the Great purge to influence the country. These are all basically brain washing methods to control the people. But the Great Purge was much more. This would make people listen by fear. Anyone who did not follow the laws or spoke out against him was gotten rid of. People would fear for their lives so they were forced to follow.
