- The rock cycle story
- A long long time ago there was a volcano named Hachiupichu. Hachiupichu was a very old volcano. It was said to explode at any minute 50 years ago. But until now, it did.
- Boom! It exploded into a million pieces and magma poured out rapidly. Thousands of rocks were expelled from the explosion. But a really old one that was created in the volcano millions of years ago was the special one created by cooling magma. His name is Iggy the Igneous rock!
- On the other side of the world there is a Bahamas Island. This Island is full of beautiful white sand. Sometimes some sediments roll to the ocean. The sediments may come from weathering and erosion.
- With the pressure at the bottom of the ocean the sediments start getting compacted together. After that it created Sedi the Sedimentary rock!
- Under the earths surface magma is rising to the crust. The magma is unable to rise to the top. It starts to turn the sides into metamorphic rocks with heat and pressure. Although the magma later starts to cool and also turns into a metamorphic rock.
